The Monastery as it stands today!

The Monastery is a tall building measuring 20 metres high and is around 30 metres wide. 

Long ago, The Monastery was rented by the De le Salle brothers from the nuns - they paid a pound a year!! 


Nowadays, it is used by the parish community for meetings and by the parish sectary  Mary O'connel

There is a plaque designated to the De Le Salle brothers.

The Monastery is located behind St. Patrick's B.N.S and on it's left is the church of the Holy Rosary and on the right is Durcan auctioneer's.
